The extension of concessions bathing, provided for by the government's Milleproroghe decree, must not be applied.
This is the opinion of the Council of State which, in examining Article 13 of the EU directive on the matter, "where it establishes the prohibition of automatic extensions of maritime state concessions for tourist-recreational purposes" highlights that this rule is "immediately applicable in the internal legal system", Therefore "the national legislative provisions which have provided (and which in the future may still provide) the automatic extension of the aforementioned concessions are in conflict with it and therefore, must not be applied".
