The Court of Appeal of Napoli (fifth section, President Ginevra Abbamondi) has inflicted over 130 years of prison – between redeterminations of sentences and confirmations – on 16 defendants believed to be linked to the D'Ausilio clan of the Bagnoli district.
Reduced penalties for example against Happy Help, son of the clan leader Domenico and brother of Antonio, by virtue of the collaboration started with justice. The same goes for the other "repentant" Alessandro De Falco.
Twenty-four years of imprisonment were instead inflicted on Antonio D'Ausilio (defended by the lawyer Raffaele Chiummariello) who saw two years deducted from the first degree sentence.
She has also been recognized for Antonio D'Ausilio continuation with previous association sentences Camorra ed extortion, with a consequent increase in sentence of eight years.
The life sentence handed down in the first instance to the killer of the clan Victor Albano found guilty of the murder of an illegal parking attendant who had refused to pay the extortion money to the clan and to the wife of Antonio D'Ausilio, Grace Sarnelli (three years in prison).
