Their story is over but the choice to close it was not agreed upon. Because for a 55 year old from Torre del Greco, affection had become just a memory.
The torments were daily. They arose from trivial reasons and all ended in violence.
And even now that only a few old photos of the couple remain, the ex-husband has attempted yet another approach. The woman knocked on the door of the home they shared because she needed to collect some personal effects. A 57-year-old already known to the police, her former life partner, let her in.
Then he pointed a knife at her. He threatened to kill her and then he wounded her wrist. He tried to force her to have sex but the 55-year-old reacted as best she could: screaming at the top of her lungs.
The victim's parents knew she was supposed to meet her ex. When she didn't come home for a few hours, they thought something had happened and called 112.
The Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco radiomobile section intervened in a few moments and the 57-year-old was put in handcuffs and then placed under house arrest. He will take the next step before the judge, when he will have to answer for mistreatment and injuries.
