This time at the “Santa Maria della Speranza” hospital in Battipaglia, where a 68-year-old woman lost her life following an operation to free her bile ducts from a stone.

“The time has come for Governor De Luca to examine his conscience regarding his unfulfilled duties and the immense responsibilities, his and his faithful squires of the Democratic Party, in terms of Health in Campania. De Luca's failure, on all fronts, is evident.
His complete ineptitude and his total incompetence are there for all to see. Far from black! The shirt on the Health Service in the province of Salerno has become filthy. Truly embarrassing! And the escape from our health facilities confirms the disaster created by De Luca in years of reckless leadership by him and his party.
Political hypocrisy should have a limit but De Luca is shameless. It is no coincidence that the data published by Agenas are disastrous and show the Campania hospitals among the worst in Italy. The fault is not of the doctors and nursing staff but of the lack of organizational solutions that regional politics should provide”, concludes Iannone.
