On May 30, the fifth Commission of the Superior Council of the Judiciary will hear the magistrates who have applied to fill the position of Chief Prosecutor of Naples. Starting at 9:30, the prosecutor of Catanzaro will be heard, Nicola Gratteri, the prosecutor of Bologna, Giuseppe Amato, the prosecutor of Benevento, Aldo Policastro, the prosecutor of Potenza, Francesco Curcio and the deputy prosecutor of Naples, Rosa Fox.

The Prosecutor's Office Napoli has lacked leadership since early May 2022, when Giovanni Melillo was appointed national anti-mafia prosecutor.
