This afternoon in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Palace of Pomigliano d'Arco the elected mayor Raffaele Russo has been proclaimed. And for the first time in the history of this city, at the same time as the proclamation, the mayor Russo has also communicated the names of the councilors that make up the new municipal council, who were made to sign the decree of acceptance of the nomination.
Subsequently, but still this afternoon, the first council meeting was held in order to start the work of the new municipal administration headed by Raffaele Russo. "There are so many things to do in this city - Mayor Raffaele Russo emphasized - and therefore we could not waste a single moment. For the first time in the history of Pomigliano d'Arco, I wanted to nominate the councilors a second after my proclamation and immediately convene the first council meeting, in order to get to work right away".
Here are the names of the councilors: Domenico Leone (deputy mayor, institutional activities, social policies, training and sports); Elvira Romano (Legal Profession, Heritage, Foundations and Associations, Equal Opportunities); Mattia De Cicco (Budget, Programming, Finance, Participated Companies, Pnrr); Vincenzo Caprioli (Urban Planning, Public Works); Marianna Manna (Work, Commerce, Municipal Machine and Personnel); Mariarosaria Toscano (Environment, Public Green, Public Parks); Giovanni Russo (Culture, Education, Youth Policies).
