The press conference for the presentation of the eleventh edition of the event took place this morning in the Sala Italia of the Teatro Mediterraneo at the Mostra d'Oltremare. Pizza Village Naples, scheduled from 16 to 25 June in the Neapolitan city.
The meeting was attended by the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, the CEOs of Oramata Grandi Eventi, Alessandro Marinacci and Claudio Sebillo – organizers of the event – the president of the RTL 102.5 group, Lorenzo Suraci with Gianni Simioli, Francesco Miccù, marketing director of Mulino Caputo, title sponsor of the event, and the top management of Mostra d'Oltremare, Remo Minopoli and Maria Caputo.
The new location of the event has been confirmed, moving from the city promenade of Lungomare Caracciolo to the open-air spaces of the Mostra d'Oltremare. “The Pizza Village is not only and exclusively a food event – the organizers Claudio Sebillo and Alessandro Marinacci underlined -.
Today Naples is experiencing a moment of great splendor and we have always thought that the Pizza Village could in its small way be a contribution to the attraction and positive image of the city. A mission that pushed us to realize this event in 2011 when Naples had, due to the well-known problems of waste, a negative echo in the world.
This is why the Pizza Village is not just a gastronomic event, but an event that acts as a tourist attraction, a great happening supported by important partners, such as Mulino Caputo and RTL 102.5, which celebrates pizza and master pizza chefs, but also has a strong cultural connotation".
“The Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples – say Remo Minopoli and Maria Caputo, president and delegated councilor of the institution – is a multifaceted space at the service of the city. The main actors of the village remain the pizza makers and pizzerias, but also the entertainment and show contents of the kermesse. Gigi D'Alessio, Angelina Mango (winner of the Amici 2023 talent), Wax, The Kolors, Mr. Rain & Sangiovanni, Sophie and the Giants, Claude, LDA & Aka 7even, Boro Boro, Aiello, Gabbani and Leo Gassmann, are just the first names of the singers, revealed by the editor of RTL 102.5 Lorenzo Suraci, partner of the event, who will perform on the stage of the Pizza Village Napoli from 16 to 25 June.
