Racist phrases against a Fiom delegate in one of the factories of the San Giorgio Wash group Acerra, were allegedly uttered this morning, in front of the company headquarters, by one of the owners. This is what the provincial secretariat of Fiom reports, underlining that the phrases were allegedly uttered this morning near the entrance where workers have been protesting and on strike for several days to protest the dismissal of four employees.
The sentences, according to the story also given to the Carabinieri in a detailed complaint, were addressed by the owner of the company that produces household appliances, to a Fiom delegate of Nigerian origins present at the demonstration.
“This morning,” explain the representatives of the Fiom of Naples, “the workers were first threatened because of their union membership and subsequently one of our delegates was subjected to racist insults.
Phrases full of hatred and rancor that confirm what we have been denouncing in recent days, on the fact that the company is closed to any type of reasoning and alternative solutions to dismissal". The company has made it known that at the moment they prefer not to release any statement.
