A guided tour to discover the wonders kept in the Royal Park of Palace of Caserta, from monumental fountains to sculptural groups inspired by classical themes, with particular attention to the reference to Ovid's Metamorphoses.
A real garden party that will be held on Saturday 3 June and in which the students of the Stefanelli Institute of Mondragone, which organized the initiative, will act as guides for the visitors of the Royal Bourbon Palace.
Tourists will be able to listen to the reconstruction of the history of the gardens' layout with the simplification of Luigi Vanvitelli's project by his son Carlo. A day made possible by the adhesion, also this year, of the Reggia di Caserta to the kermesse "Appuntamento in Giardino", organized by the association Parchi e Giardini d'Italia with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the Anci (National Association of Italian Municipalities).
The school children will be waiting for visitors near the waterway on Saturday from 10am to 16pm to involve them in the exciting study.
