Three days of regattas and parades at sea, over twenty historic boats involved, all with a great history and entirely made of wood, sailing or motor. The twentieth edition of the Circolo Savoia ended in the hall. “The Vintage Sails at Napoli – Ventrella Trophy”. New this year, the presence of the legendary Riva motorboats, for the first gathering “The Riva in the Gulf of Partenope”, which took place in parallel with the sailing regattas in the waters of the island of Capri.

A celebration that has not lost its sporting spirit, because if the Riva was exclusively a gathering, the Vele d'Epoca instead challenged each other at sea for the final success. At the end, victory in the class Classic Yachts by Crivizza, by Ariella Cattai and Gigi Rolandi (CN Versilia); second place Ojalà II by Susan Carol Holland and Michele Frova; third place Don Quijote by Lodovico Visone (RYCC Savoy).
Vele d'Epoca in Naples, all the winners
In Vintage Yacht, first place for Zenith (CRV Italia), ahead of the English Argyll of Griff Rhys Jones (British Classic Yacht Club) and Mariska of the commander Dan Polisak (DSB Piran – Slovenia).
Premio Spirit of Tradition to Albelimar III of the shipowner Marco Claudio Corneli. Elegance Award to Don Quixote. The Angelo Lattarulo Trophy, moreover, was awarded to the first classified in real time of the coastal race on Sunday 2 July, Ojalà II. The Ventrella Trophy went to the overall winner of the Vintage Yacht class for the coastal race on June 30th: Mariska.
