The Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Salerno, as part of a service activity aimed at protecting the goods and services sector, have seized a large quantity of articles dangerous to the health of consumers.
In particular, the Guardia di Finanza of the Nocera Inferiore Company found, in a commercial establishment in Pagani, almost 50.000 products including electrical items, costume jewelry and toys without the necessary certifications and instructions and warnings for use, required by the regulations on consumer protection.
The owner of the business, an Asian national, was reported to the Chamber of Commerce for the imposition of an administrative fine for violating the Consumer Code, which can reach up to 25.823 euros.
