Intensified controls in Cilento, an area south of Salerno. The extraordinary device prepared by the provincial commander of the Carabinieri of Salerno, Colonel Filippo Melchiorre, allowed the military to identify 240 people, check 115 vehicles, issue 25 fines for violations of the Highway Code, including failure to use seat belts and the use of a cell phone while driving; 11 vehicles were also subjected to administrative detention.

During the same operation, the Carabinieri of the Sapri Company reported three people for driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of the use of alcoholic beverages, while 2 young people were reported as users to the Prefecture of Salerno because they were found in possession of narcotic substances.

Similarly, two other people were reported by the Carabinieri of the Pollica Station in Acciaroli, they caught two young people in possession of drugs for personal use, such as marijuana and hashish.
