From tomorrow, Wednesday 13 September, AIR Campania Line 21 'Aversa-Caivano-Afragola AV' is active, which covers five municipalities in the province of Caserta (Gricignano di Aversa, Cesa, Succivo, Sant'Arpino and Orta di Atella) and three in the Metropolitan City of Naples (Frattaminore, Crispano and Caivano).
“Starting tomorrow – specifies the Administrator of AIR Campania, Anthony Acconcia – we will implement school services in the municipalities of the Agro Aversano, but also the connections of road transport with the railway and underground stations, promoting integrated mobility, which is one of our strategic objectives for an efficient and successful TPL.
In fact, to the existing connections in the regional area with the stations of Afragola, Caserta, Foggia and Naples, we are adding another important piece with the line departing from Aversa towards the High Speed station. The next objective will be the single ticket, which we are already working on”.
There will be twelve trips per day from Aversa to Caivano, with an extension to the Afragola station during the time slots that guarantee connections with the Frecciarossa and Italo high-speed trains, and stops at the main secondary schools (Istituto Alberghiero “Drengot” and Liceo Scientifico “Fermi” in Aversa; ITIS “Volta” and Istituto Tecnico Economico “Alfonso Gallo” in Gricignano di Aversa; ITIS “Morano” in Caivano).
The activation of the new Line, which also allows you to reach the Metropolitan Stations "Aversa Centro" and "Ippodromo", as well as the "Moscati" hospital in Aversa, is part of the implementation plan that, AIR specifies, as per the timetable following the emergency assignments, the regional company is carrying forward by restoring the minimum Tpl services previously operated by the outgoing manager. The timetable is available on the website www.aircampania.it under "Lines and timetables".
