Patrol officers arrested a 57-year-old man after finding three kilos of marijuana in his car.
It happened yesterday, in via Coronata. Antonio Cuomo, originally from Napoli. The man has several previous drug convictions and it is not the first time that the police have stopped him. The man was arrested for possession with intent to distribute narcotics.
He also had six thousand euros at home, most likely proceeds from drug dealing. It is not the first time that patrol officers have come across him, during routine checks in Genoa.
It happened yesterday morning at 12 in via Coronata. The man was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. The police officers, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Giuseppe Longo and directed by Maria Teresa Canessa, searched the man's apartment, finding more than 6 thousand euros in cash.
According to investigators, they could have been accumulated by selling other drugs. Cuomo was arrested and taken to prison in Marassi.
