A “sustainable” song, embellished by a featuring with the marine “voices” of the whales that sing in the special of the song.
"Blessed & Clandestine” (Without Doubts/Believe) is the new single by Attilio Fontana e Rosita Celentano, on the radio and on all digital platforms starting tomorrow, Friday 6 October. Bound by a fraternal friendship born during a successful theatre tour, the two artists have always shared visions, writing and commitment to supporting projects that pay close attention to climate change and ethical values.
With a playfully “rinogaetanian” language, “Benedetti & Clandestini” tells, in fact, the return to nature as a hymn to freedom, the freedom of being able to return to being people connected to the real world, outside of any slavery that the present imposes on us. A “bio” song that tries to reconnect us with our planet and proposes a love outside of clichés, where feelings find a home even disconnected from the network and smartphones.
All embellished by a real featuring with the marine “voices” of whales that are inserted in the special of the song, underlining how our planet, which every day loses pieces of “green and blue”, is in danger and needs attention. What do whales have to do with it? When it comes to saving the planet, a whale is worth thousands of trees because it absorbs the carbon dioxide produced by man. Their protection, therefore, is not “only” essential to avoid the disappearance of these fantastic marine creatures, but is also fundamental in the desperate fight against climate change.
““Benedetti & Clandestini” is a sustainable song that tries to save all the “species” of emotions, saving them from the apocalypse of algorithmic speed – Attilio Fontana underlines – it's a song that reminds us that to escape from the overdose of numbers and virtuality we still have a real world waiting to give us and receive a precious and very slow caress on the soul".
“We are all Blessed & Clandestine. In my vision of life there is no separation between man and the rest of living beings. We are all part of the same picture, too bad that the greed of the (in)human race is ending up destroying everything. But it will only be a passage, as painful as it is necessary, to then return (or begin) to live in harmony with the Plants and all other living Beings. The simplicity of this song makes it immense. And simplicity is the perfect dimension, where everything flows in respect of the different species of earth, sky and ocean. We all need each other. Without whales, for example, we would die because they are responsible for the air we breathe, perhaps even more than Plants. Or bees! It is really curious to realize that if the human race disappeared not only would no one risk anything but on Planet Earth the right balance would resume and Peace would return”, says Rosita Celentano.
