The commissioner of Napoli has adopted two measures banning access to sporting events (DASPO), for periods of one and two years, against an equal number of people aged 24 and 40 who, on the occasion of the match Napoli-Fiorentina last October 8th at the “Diego Armando Maradona” stadium, had been reported for climbing from one sector to another of the sports facility. Another four daspo, lasting one year, were issued against as many Neapolitan fans between the ages of 22 and 48; in particular, on the occasion of the Napoli-Real Madrid match last October 3rd, three of them had been reported for climbing, while the fourth had been reported for using dangerous material and possession of pyrotechnic devices during sporting events because, during the first half, he had lit a smoke bomb and was subsequently caught in possession of two smoke bombs.
Another measure, lasting two years, was imposed on a 26-year-old Roman who, in relation to the match Napoli-Lazio of last September 2, had been reported for using dangerous material during sporting events. Again, a daspo, lasting one year, was adopted against a 26-year-old from Torre del Greco because, shortly before the Turris-Giugliano football match at the “Amerigo Liguori” sports facility in Torre del Greco on January 29, he had railed and threatened the visiting supporters.
Finally, five provisions, for periods of 2 and 3 years, were issued against the same number of people, one of whom was convicted of aggravated robbery and assault, one of whom was convicted of attempted extortion aggravated by mafia methods and for violations relating to weapons, another of whom was convicted of attempted extortion, personal injuries and possession of weapons or objects capable of causing offence, another of whom was convicted of continued extortion, while the last of whom was convicted of continued extortion aggravated by mafia methods.
