Lorenzo Insigne has reportedly offered himself to Lazio for the winter transfer market, according to a bombshell dropped by the newspaper Il Messaggero.
Currently at Toronto, the 32-year-old player has reportedly expressed a desire to return to Italy and would be willing to reduce his salary in order to reunite with Maurizio Sarri at Lazio. This news could have interesting implications for the future of Pedro, who Tenerife hopes to bring home, and for Saudi Arabia's interest.
Although Pedro has stated that he wants to stay at Lazio after the Celtic game, the situation will need to be monitored closely. Insigne has long been linked with Lazio during 2021 and has been one of Sarri's favourite players since his time at Napoli.
If the transfer were to materialize, Insigne would also be reunited with his long-time friend, Ciro Immobile, with whom he had excelled as a young player in Zeman's Pescara.
