Officially starts from Napoli 'Coordinamento di Strada', the first web platform and app mobile in Italy, which aims to revolutionize assistance to the homeless: the system will allow all operators in the sector, volunteers and institutions to be able to assist people in difficulty in an organized, coordinated manner and without the possibility of generating food waste, as well as to cover with food and basic necessities anyone sleeping on the streets.
The idea for the platform was born from the many years of experience of the BeHumans Odv association and of all 90 groups of the homonymous 'Coordinamento di Strada' network (active in Napoli since 2015), which for 365 days cover all the poor of the city with food, blankets, clothing, health care and other basic necessities, thanks to a capillary mapping and constant of the homeless present on the territory.
The platform www.coordinamentodistrada.org It was developed by the Abruzzo software house 'AppInnova', with previous experience in the field of Civil Protection, and is available both on the web and on apps for Android and iOS with the name Coordinamento di Strada. Once the necessary tests were completed, the volunteers of Napoli and its hinterland that animate the network, together with Behumans, will make available, free of charge, this mobile web app platform, appropriately designed to be replicated, also available to other Italian cities with a presence of homeless people and to the Vatican.
