“Last year there were 180 people injured by firecrackers throughout Italy” and “this year in Napoli and province we started well in advance: on December 6th an 18-year-old suffered serious injuries to both hands from the explosion of a firework”.
From these data comes 'Scream but don't shoot', an awareness campaign launched via social media by the association Nobody touches Hippocrates (NtI).
“On New Year's Eve, shout (with joy), but don't shoot”, is the appeal. “118 and the emergency rooms have other things to deal with. For example, ordinary emergencies, those don't know holidays. Be responsible”, urges NtI.
