From Monday 5th to Friday 10th February the excellence of Neapolitan cuisine will be protagonists at the 74th Sanremo Festival.
Neapolitan cuisine, in fact, will be present at the Italian Song Festival thanks to the association “Aperitivo Food & Drink” and the company “Sapori di Napoli” of chef Gennaro Galeotafiore.
Inside the spaces of the enchanting Villa Ormond, pizza chefs, chefs, influencers and bloggers will be the protagonists of the international festival dedicated to Italian song.
“We are proud to bring our products and our culinary tradition to an important event such as the Sanremo Festival, where in the past we have already represented the cuisine of our regionand – declared Gennaro Galeotafiore of the company “Sapori di Napoli” – Our goal is to promote Neapolitan cuisine around Italy as well as welcoming journalists, actors, directors and international stars with our products”.
Partners of the event will be the dairy products of Latticini Orchidea, the artisanal pasta of Antica Maccheroneria, the flours of Molino Naldoni, the work clothes of Linework Group, the mixers of IP Bake, the ovens and the equipment of Sacar Forni, the peeled tomatoes of La Rosina, the truffles of Sassone Tartufi, the gluten-free products of Gluteno, the products distributed by Ristorfoods, Formazione Calabria and many other companies and organizations that support the project.
In addition to the Neapolitan fry shop, a cornerstone of Neapolitan street food, during the Sanremo Festival there will also be the second edition of the “Trofeo Pizza Festival Sanremo”. The award, created by the Calabese promoter Franco Buccinà together with the pizza chef Francesco Fortuna and Gennaro Galeotafiore, will concentrate the best of Italian pizza chefs in the city of flowers. There will be over 40 pizza chefs competing, competing in different categories such as Classic Pizza, Contemporary Pizza, Art Pizza, Gourmet Pizza, Gluten Free Pizza and many others. Among the many creations in the last edition, for example, it is worth mentioning the Pizza Amadeus created in honor of the artistic director and much appreciated by the host of the Sanremo festival himself.
A return to Sanremo for the company “Sapori di Napoli” and for the chef Gennaro Galeotafiore who, after the presence of the last 4 years, has decided to relaunch the presence of Neapolitan cuisine in Liguria also with the help of the association “Aperitivo Food & Drink”, with which next April he will organize the second edition of the Aperitivo Championship.
In addition to Italian music and song, there will also be space in Sanremo for quality Campania cuisine.
