Countdown to the traditional Epiphany appointment with the Lottery Italy. Tomorrow evening, in fact, the winning tickets will be drawn. The first prize, as usual, will be 5 million euros, while the other so-called first category prizes (usually all worth more than a million euros) will be established a few hours before the drawing.
This year, according to estimates, approximately 6,6 million tickets were sold, a 10% increase compared to last year. This is the largest increase in sales after the collapse in the year of the pandemic. According to data released by the specialized agency Agipronews, the leading region in sales is Lombardy, followed by Lazio and Campania. Tickets can still be purchased physically, while online sales were closed on January 3.
The winners will be announced during the RaiUno show 'Affario Tuoi' hosted by Amadeus. The drawings on this year's Lotteria Italia tickets were created thanks to the competition 'Disegnamo la Fortuna con Adm', an initiative now in its third edition and born with the intent of valorizing and giving visibility to the artistic abilities of people with disabilities and, at the same time, promoting legal gambling. This year's theme was 'Disability and Music'.
