A lite condominium degenerated into tragedy with one man dead and the other arrested: it happened in Wall in the province of Caserta.
A 60-year-old man, Sebastiano Tessitore, was shot dead by his 74-year-old neighbor during a heated argument over parking.
The episode occurred in the early afternoon today, around 16:00 PM, inside the condominium parking lot. The two men, who had previously had arguments over parking, once again exchanged verbal arguments, in heated tones.
The argument then turned tragic when the 74-year-old pulled out a 9mm pistol, which he was legally holding, and fired several shots at his neighbor.
Tessitore was fatally hit and died shortly after, despite the timely intervention of rescue workers. The Carabinieri of the Aversa Company, who arrived on the scene alerted by residents, immediately stopped the alleged murderer, who did not resist. The murder weapon was seized.

The Parete tragedy has deeply shocked the local community, which is rallying around the victim's family. The event, once again, puts the spotlight on the need to find solutions to contain the phenomenon of violence and on measures for the correct carrying and possession of firearms.
