The councilor of the Fourth Municipality, Assunta Natale, has raised heavy criticisms on the management of the municipal territory, accusing the administration of concentrating activities only in a specific area, to the detriment of the historic center and the periphery.
“Every day I learn from social networks of various activities carried out in the municipal territory without the appropriate comparison with those who allowed the current President to govern,” said the Councilor Christmas.“The 30 councilors brought consensus, while those who govern the municipality today are the result of agreements made at the table.” Natale reports that interventions such as carousels, roadworks, traffic light system projects, cleaning and weed control, as well as gazebos to raise awareness of separate waste collection, always take place in the same area, precisely where President Caniglia resides.
“Thinking badly is a sin, but sometimes you get it right,” observed the councilor, expressing the suspicion that such interventions are aimed at favoring a specific area. The councilor, President of the Third Ecological and Green Transition Commission of the Municipality of San Lorenzo Vicaria, Poggioreale and Industrial Zone, highlighted how areas such as Porta Capuana and the degradation around the Sant'Anna Towers are perpetually abandoned.
Natale criticized the fact that, despite numerous complaints and reports, no significant interventions have been seen in these areas. “Since the first days of her mandate, the President has made catwalks in Via San Giovanni a Carbonara for the repositioning of waste collection bins, but everything happened in Via Sant'Alfonso Maria dei Liguori,” Natale declared. “I acknowledge that there are A-series areas and B-series areas, and unfortunately I represent the B-series areas.”
The councilor also announced that she will ask the ASL for clarifications regarding rat control, citing the presence of rats of considerable size in via Carriera Grande. “I'm tired of this selective and discriminatory way of doing things,” Natale added, promising to continue his battles in the majority.
Natale concluded with an appeal to municipal democracy, underlining that about 400 voters wrote his name and about 2000 chose Azzurri Per Napoli. "Never forget that this is a democratic Municipality, not a Monarchy,” he stated with determination.
