Naples. In a video sent to the deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli, the umpteenth scenes of urban violence are immortalized in the central and very busy via Marina.
A violent fight broke out near Via Marina in Napoli, at the traffic light at the intersection of via Amerigo Vespucci and corso Garibaldi. According to the authors of the video, some window cleaners attacked two girls stopped on board a Smart who did not want to have their windows cleaned. Some motorists noticed the scene and, getting out of their cars, in turn attacked the window cleaners.
“Scenes of urban violence increasingly out of control in the city. We have repeatedly denounced the dangerousness of the situation at the traffic lights along Via Marina and the surrounding streets.
Groups of window cleaners and desperate people, increasingly numerous and aggressive, ready to attack motorists and, in some cases, to try to extort money by throwing themselves on cars and claiming to have been run over.
We have received many reports from exasperated residents but, in any case, the answer cannot be do-it-yourself justice. We need more controls by the police in addition to monitoring by social services of the most problematic cases to offer assistance”. These are the words of the deputy Borrelli.
