Naples, thief arrested in Forcella while attempting a home burglary

Naples. Yesterday morning, officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station arrested a 41-year-old Neapolitan for attempted home burglary.

The officers were engaged in territorial control service when they received a report of an attempted burglary in via Domenico Cirillo, in the Forcella area.

When they arrived at the scene, they noticed a man chasing another man, indicating him as the perpetrator of the crime.

The police reached and stopped the second man, ascertaining that shortly before he had attempted to enter a Flat by forcing the front door with a screwdriver. The door in fact showed clear signs of forced entry.

In light of what was ascertained, the 41-year-old was arrested for attempted burglary.

The arrest was made possible thanks to the timely report by the citizen who witnessed the attempted theft and the prompt response of the officers of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station.
