Naples. A daring robbery in broad daylight yesterday morning in Arenella. Two men, likely foreigners, attacked the driver of a truck collecting used clothing, threatening him with a knife and forcing him to get out of the vehicle.
The criminals then fled with the truck and its cargo: several bags of clothes.
The episode occurred around 11:00 in via Ruoppolo, where the truck of a company in charge of the collection service was collecting used clothes from some bins.
The driver, an employee of a Neapolitan company, could not resist and handed over the keys to the robbers. Still in shock, he then went to the Vomero Police Station to file a complaint.
The research of lorry, with the alarm broadcast by radio, were immediately triggered, but so far without success. The agents hope to obtain useful clues from the images of the video surveillance cameras in the area, of which they have already acquired several recordings. The hunt for the two criminals is underway.
