The event, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of San Giorgio a Cremano, offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the East, through the celebrated German director's film and the reflections of the renowned Japanese scholar.

The Evening of July 5th: “Perfect Days” by Wim Wenders
The evening will begin with the screening of “Perfect Days” (Japan-Germany, 2023, 123′), the latest work by Wim Wenders. The film tells the story of Hirayama (Koji Yakusho), a cleaner of Tokyo’s public toilets who, in his free time, devotes himself to music, books, plants and photography. Hirayama’s routine is enriched by a series of unexpected encounters that reveal significant details of his past. This work by the director of Wings of Desire offers a poetic reflection on the search for beauty in a fascinating and surprising oriental world.
