La Juve Stabia has made official the agreement for the acquisition of the porter Christian Matosevic, born in '97, from Triestina.
The transfer is on a temporary basis, with the right to redeem, until 30 June 2025. Matosevic, originally from Koper (Slovenia), gained his footballing education at Triestina, Catania and Lazio.The goalkeeper has also worn the shirts of NS Mura, NK Domžale, Triestina and Cosenza. Matosevic's career has seen several significant milestones. Before the second half of the 2015-16 season, he was loaned to Lazio from Catania.
In 2017, he spent a trial period with Dutch club Groningen. Then, in the second half of the 2016-17 season, he signed for Domžale in the Slovenian top division. In the second half of the 2017-18 season, he moved to Mura, a team in the Slovenian second division.
In 2020, Matosevic joined Cosenza in Serie B from Triestina, then in Serie C. On 28 January 2023, he returned to Triestina on loan with an option to buy. On 19 July 2023, Matosevic's contract with Cosenza was terminated by mutual consent, and on the same day he returned to Triestina on a permanent basis.
