Naples 7 people poisoned by a person offering almond milk on the street: it's a manhunt

The Carabinieri of Naples are engaged in two separate investigations into episodes of intoxication that occurred a few days apart, both linked to the consumption of almond milk.

The fact is causing no small amount of concern among citizens. Many have shared, especially on Tik Tok, some videos with the face of the alleged perpetrator.

At first it was thought to be a bad joke towards the person portrayed in the photo, then as the hours and days passed and confirmations were obtained, it was a case of some sort of serial poisoner. And the manhunt began.

Three people poisoned yesterday

Yesterday afternoon, three people – the owner of a Genepesca on Via Foria, his daughter and a sales assistant – showed up at the Pellegrini Emergency Room complaining of feeling unwell after drinking almond milk offered by a stranger.

Fortunately, their conditions were not serious and they have already been discharged.

Another case a few days ago with 4 people poisoned

A few days ago, four shop assistants from a discount store in Piazza Poderico (49, 22, 20 and 29 years old) were transported to hospital with similar symptoms after ingesting almond milk brought to the store by a man.

Again, the women were discharged from the hospital.

The Carabinieri are investigating to determine whether the two incidents are connected and to identify the person responsible. It is assumed that the almond milk may have been contaminated with a harmful substance.

The investigation is still ongoing and at the moment no leads have been excluded.

Law enforcement officials urge citizens to be careful and not to accept drinks from strangers. If you feel unwell after consuming a food product, it is important to seek medical attention immediately.
