The Local Police of Napoli discovered an illegal management activity of special waste inside a shed industrial.
During a control operation, Environmental Protection agents surprised a man already known for environmental crimes while he was working on scrap and metal waste.
The man, without authorization and expertise, was illegally handling ferrous and electrical materials from electronic equipment and motor vehicles.
Il shed, of approximately 450 mXNUMX, was divided into two areas: one for the processing of scrap and the other as a storage area for electronic waste stored in large quantities.
To stop the production of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, the entire area was placed under preventive seizure. Machinery, tools and approximately 20 cubic meters of waste were also seized, including WEEE, engines, computers, car parts, boat engines and worn tires.
The man was reported for uncontrolled management of special waste in the absence of the necessary hygienic-sanitary conditions.
