The Book and Its Author
Born in 2000, Jacopo Luongo is the creator of "Martino and Giosuè" (Marco Serra Tarantola Editore, 255 pages), a work that explores the meaning of art and highlights the difficulties many young people in Southern Italy face when they leave their homeland in search of opportunity. The protagonists, Martino and Giosuè, are two artists and friends whose lives are intertwined in the southern Italian countryside. Despite their families' economic differences, the two develop a strong bond and, supported by Giosuè's family, move to Paris to hone their talents.
A Journey Through Art and Culture

Between Landscape and Literature
In his story, Jacopo Luongo offers a deeply personal perspective on the Cilento landscape. He spent long afternoons in the fields, immersed in a wild and vibrant nature, where time seemed suspended. The images evoked by the author convey the beauty of Cilento, with its breathtaking views and landscapes rich in history and tradition. These walks through the fields and among the Cilento farmers left a profound impression on Luongo, influencing his perception of the world and life. The traditions and landscapes of Cilento become a crucial backdrop for his reflections on human beauty and art.
"Martino and Giosuè" is not just a novel, but an emotional and cultural journey that invites readers to reflect on their relationship with art, the land, and traditions. The book launch in Cicerale is an unmissable opportunity to experience an authentic and profound vision of life in Southern Italy, enriched by the author Jacopo Luongo's personal experiences.
