The Municipality of Naples, on the initiative of Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, has launched an ambitious program of extraordinary cleaning of the city.
This intervention includes the cleaning and washing of bells for separate waste collection, bins, roads and sidewalks. The plan covers a total of 183 streets and 459 bell stations, for a total of 1205 bells.“The work of improving services and city livability implemented by the Manfredi council in the various sectors of daily public life continues. In particular, in this case we are intervening on the decorum and cleanliness of streets, squares and sidewalks”, declared the councilor for Green and Urban Hygiene Vincenzo Santagada.
The program includes the mobilization of numerous operators and specialized vehicles, charged with removing waste and debris accumulated over time. “The Municipality of Napoli has launched an ambitious extraordinary cleaning operation of the city's streets, with the aim of giving citizens and visitors a cleaner, safer and more welcoming urban environment", continued Santagada.
“This initiative represents an important step forward in the management and care of the territory, demonstrating the willingness of the municipal administration to invest resources and energy to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants”The success of the operation will also be based on close collaboration with local communities, voluntary associations and companies in the sector.
