Diodato's Career
Diodato began his career at the MEI in 2007, with his first self-produced album. Since then, the singer-songwriter has defended many battles in the music industry, demonstrating a constant commitment to social and civil issues. This commitment, together with the great success achieved, now culminates with the special career award. Giordano Sangiorgi, founder of the MEI, underlined how Diodato's virtuous path, from the apprenticeship to the victory of the Festival of Sanremo, you deserve this recognition.
Recent Successes
Diodato is one of the most appreciated artists on the Italian music scene, with four albums of unreleased material to his credit. The last year has been particularly fruitful for him: he participated in the 74th edition of the Festival of Sanremo with the song “Ti Muovi”, certified gold record. In addition, he has won numerous awards with “La mia terra”, an original song from the film “Palazzina Laf” by Michele Riondino. In 2024 he also released “Ho acceso un fuoco”, an album recorded live that captures the energy of his concerts. Recently, he has embarked on a tour in Brazil and is preparing to perform in Italian theaters, where he has already recorded numerous sold outs.
