Naples – The agenda signed by city councilor Gennaro Demetrio Paipais will be discussed at the city council meeting on Friday, March 21.
The motion proposes to the Council and the Executive to provide taxis for disabled people and to strengthen the local police presence near taxi ranks, in particular at the airport, at Molo Beverello in the summer season, following the scheme already implemented at the station. Garibaldi.
"It is a measure - writes Paipais in a note - to protect first of all the many honest taxi drivers who are often trampled by irregular vehicles, but also citizens and tourists especially in key areas where there are significant influxes of users. The Stazione Garibaldi model has produced clear results and should be replicated in other parts of the city.
Naples must also be able to equip itself with specific vehicles for the transport of disabled people and this is why I have submitted a specific order of the day to the chamber".

The topic discussed in the article is very important, but it seems to me that there is not enough attention to the needs of all citizens, especially those with disabilities who deserve a better and more attentive service.
