Poste Italiane is expanding the diffusion of the passport request and renewal service in post offices, which from today is also active in 12 offices in Milan, 12 in Naples, 3 in Bergamo and in 4 municipalities in the province of Florence.
Milan, Naples and Bergamo join Rome, Bologna, Verona, Cagliari, Aosta, Catanzaro, Perugia, Venice, Matera, Modena, Monza and Brianza, Reggio Calabria, Reggio Emilia, Sassari, Treviso and Vicenza where the service has already been available for several months.
The service has also been extended to 88 post offices in the municipalities of the province of Milan, 42 in the province of Naples and 121 in the province of Bergamo: all included in the Polis project of Poste Italiane, the initiative aimed at the 6.933 municipalities with less than 15 inhabitants that allows citizens digital access to public administration services directly from post offices.
In total, there are approximately 14 thousand passport requests submitted in the 388 authorized post offices of the large cities where the service is available. To these are added the approximately 25 thousand requests submitted in the 2.052 post offices of the Municipalities included in the Polis project.

It is very interesting that Poste Italiane has expanded the passport application and renewal service, but I wonder if in the future there will be more post offices open for this service, since it is important for citizens.
