Pino Daniele's legendary 1977 album "Terra Mia" returns to the spotlight as the celebrated musician celebrates his seventieth birthday. This event will be marked by a special event to be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the "Vincenzo Cozzolino" Events Hall in Naples, hosted by the 50&Più Association.
The event, titled "The Value of Experience," will feature producer Claudio Poggi, who contributed to the making of that historic album.
A Dive into the Musical Past
Poggi, who played a crucial role in the production of Pino Daniele's debut album, will offer an afternoon of music, stories, and memories. "Terra Mia" is considered one of the finest debut albums in Italian music, featuring iconic songs like "Napule è" and "Terra Mia," continuing to influence generations of fans. The event offers insights not only into the making of this album but also into Poggi's career, which has seen him work with prominent artists such as Enzo Gragnaniello and Gigi D'Alessio.
A Cultural Event of Great Importance
The event, part of the initiatives promoted by the Naples chapter of the 50&Più Association, represents a unique opportunity for the public to engage with key figures in the artistic and cultural scene. The introduction will be presented by lawyer Flavia Chiarolanza and will feature a speech by the Association's president, Maurizio Merolla. Renowned journalist and writer Michelangelo Iossa will conduct the interview with Poggi, immersing participants in the history of the legendary album through testimonials and stories. Honestly, I think this event on Terra Mia is interesting for those who love music. But I don't know if there will be many people. Pino Daniele is great, but today's music is different.
