The Municipal Administration of Marcianise, led by Mayor Antonio Trombetta, organized an event dedicated to women's self-defense at the Palazzo della Cultura. The initiative, titled "Women in Defense," was promoted in collaboration with Fijlklam Campania (Italian Federation of Judo, Wrestling, Karate, and Martial Arts).
Event program
The event will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, with a morning session from 9.30:13.30 a.m. to 15.30:19.30 p.m. and an afternoon session from XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. The goal is to raise awareness and educate participants on self-defense through a free women's anti-aggression course led by Antonio De Vivo, an expert and technical instructor at Fijlklam.
Participation and Collaboration
Interested women can register for the seminar free of charge by contacting 3473670062 via WhatsApp. The meeting will also feature the active involvement of volunteers and athletes from the Calatia Rosa association, which is committed to combating gender violence and bullying. The association, a partner of the Municipality of Marcianise, is chaired by Clemente Di Crescenzo, a self-defense instructor and coach of the Italian Boxing Federation. Practical demonstrations of self-defense techniques will be offered during the event. This initiative represents an important opportunity for education and awareness, combining the efforts of the Department of Sport, led by Domenico Tartaglione, and the Department of Equal Opportunities, led by Carmen Posillipo.

The women's self defense event looks interesting but I'm not sure if there are any spots available. I wonder if it's open to all women regardless of age or experience. It would be good to have more information.
I hope there will be a good turnout, but I also wonder if the courses will be useful and practical for women. Sometimes such events are not as effective as they should be.
