Naples. The alarm, the indignation, the appeals, unfortunately, continue to go unheard by the very young who use weapons without any qualms. And while waiting to celebrate the funeral of Emanuele Tufano, the 15-year-old killed on Corso Umberto, the police stop a 15-year-old armed with a gun blanks.
It happened yesterday afternoon in the Spanish Quarters, an area of youth fibrillation. By order of the Police Chief of Napoli controls have been intensified precisely in those “at risk” areas.
In particular, the officers of the Montecalvario Police Station, while passing through Paradise Alley, they noticed a young man who, having sneaked into the Spanish Quarter park, picked up an object from the ground and hid it in his waistband.
The operators, who promptly intervened, reached and blocked the young man, finding him in possession of a Bruni brand 8 caliber blank pistol with 2 blank cartridges of the same caliber.
He, identified as a 15-year-old from Naples, was reported for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence and was subsequently handed over to his parents.
