Tomorrow, Leo Gassman, actor and singer, will meet the students of theLuigi Vanvitelli University of Campania for a special event, during which he will receive the prestigious Vanvitelliana Award 2024The meeting will be held at 11:00 am at the Liccardo Hall of the Department of Political Sciences of the University, where the international spin-off will be presented “M2 Filming Experience – Southern Italy and Mediterranean”, produced by Sorrento Peninsula AwardIn partnership with Banco di Foundation Napoli.
During the event, Gassmann will share with students his life experiences, his connection with his family roots and the path that led him to emerge as a multifaceted artist in the Italian scene. The conversation will offer an opportunity for young people to engage with a leading figure in the cultural scene, touching on themes related to creativity and a career in the entertainment world.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Department, Francesco Eriberto d'Ippolito, and the event producer, Mario Esposito, they will deliver to Gassmann the Vanvitelliana Award 2024, an award that celebrates personalities who have distinguished themselves for their contribution to culture and art.
The ceremony will be attended by professors, researchers, members of the jury and a representative of the Italian State Railways Foundation, which sponsors a section of the project. The event is part of a wider programme of cultural activities promoted by theVanvitelli University and the Penisola Sorrentina Award, which this year celebrates its thirtieth anniversary.
