Naples. The pedestrian gates are coming to the heart of the historic center of Naples. A praiseworthy initiative by the second city municipality that first met the protests and then the numerous requests of the inhabitants but also of the many tourists who walk those streets every day.
The pedestrian gates have been installed in the Pignasecca market, more precisely on Via Pasquale Scura in the heart of the historic center of Spacca Napoli, frequented by thousands of people every day.
These gates for the safe passage of pedestrians have appeared a few days ago, preventing scooters and sometimes cars from accessing this street where walking had become dangerous for the elderly, disabled, mothers with strollers but also for the inhabitants of the area.
Because in that area, unfortunately, the sidewalks are practically always occupied and not usable by pedestrians.
