Anti-drug blitz by the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Mondragone, who arrested a 32-year-old local man for possession with intent to sell. During a house search, the man was found in possession of various types of narcotics hidden in the TV cabinet, along with packaging material and a sum of cash.
In detail, the military seized 15 heat-sealed packages containing cocaine for a total weight of 6,2 grams, a piece of hashish weighing 8,1 grams, a small quantity of marijuana (0,6 grams), five smartphones presumably used for the illicit activity, a precision scale, a roll of cellophane bags and 1.040 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The operation was triggered after a check on a Fiat Panda, whose driver was found in possession of cocaine. Investigators linked the substance found to the 32-year-old, since the carabinieri had noticed the driver leaving the house of the arrested man shortly before, already known to the police for specific precedents.
The search of the apartment confirmed the suspicions: the drugs seized from the 32-year-old, in type and packaging, were identical to those found on the driver of the Panda. The arrested man was taken to the county jail Santa Maria Capua Vetere, while the seized material was made available to the judicial authorities.

I read the article and it seems to me that the situation is very complex. I do not understand how a person can hide drugs in his home, especially in a TV cabinet. It is sad to see how certain situations repeat themselves.
