An episode of drug dealing was promptly resolved by the State Police at Porta Capuana. It occurred in the afternoon, leading to the arrest of a 41-year-old of Moroccan origin, already known to the police and illegal on the national territory.
The agents of the General Prevention Office were engaged in a territorial control service, when they identified an individual engaged in suspicious activities in Piazza San Francesco di Paola. The man was seen taking something from a cigarette pack, apparently hidden under a bench, and then handing the contents over to another person in exchange for money.
Thanks to the immediate intervention, the police stopped the suspect, finding him in possession of 25 packages of crack. The arrest represents another step in the fight against drug trafficking in the area.
