Naples. A sensational pickpocketing was filmed live by MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli during an inspection of the garbage market located on Corso Garibaldi. The MP had gone there to report the conditions of extreme degradation that are devouring the entire area around Piazza Garibaldi.
Users watching Borrelli's live broadcast noticed the pickpocketing, captured for an instant by the MP's cell phone camera. “This image perfectly represents the state of degradation and abandonment in which the entire area surrounding Piazza Garibaldi finds itself.
Anyone who recognizes themselves in the video should file a complaint, so the criminal can be caught. Pickpockets, scammers, thieves, unlicensed street vendors selling counterfeit or stolen goods. This is the state of the art in the entire area. Citizens and tourists are at the mercy of these people, with no way to defend themselves.
Walking in those areas becomes a danger for everyone, you run the serious risk of being robbed, if not worse. I ask that you intervene with extreme determination to re-establish legality as soon as possible. No more gray areas. This is not the welcome we want to give to tourists who come to the city.
