A tragic accident occurred last night in Striano, in the province of Naples, where Emanuele Barone, 23, lost his life after falling heavily from his scooter. According to an initial reconstruction, the young man lost control of the vehicle, ending up violently on the asphalt. Despite wearing a protective helmet, the injuries sustained were so serious that they were fatal.
The accident occurred around 2 am in via Monte, near the municipal stadium. The strong impact woke up many residents of the area. The officers of the Torre Annunziata police station, who intervened on the spot, have started investigations to clarify the exact dynamics of theaccident, acquiring images from the video surveillance systems present in the area.
Emanuele would have slipped for several meters before his body stopped on the asphalt. Immediately rescued and rushed to the hospital, the doctors could do nothing to save him. The body was seized pending the orders of the magistrate, who could order an autopsy.
At the moment, investigators believe the most likely hypothesis is that of a loss of control of the vehicle, but they do not exclude other possibilities. The community of Striano is in shock for the loss of the young man, described by friends and acquaintances as a sunny and lively boy.
