Bacoli – The well-known Neapolitan tiktoker Errico Loffredo, owner of “American Auto” has gotten into trouble and his car dealership in Bacoli has been seized following an operation by the Metropolitan Police, coordinated by commander Lucia Rea.
Inside the car dealership, a disturbing system emerged to tamper with the mileage of used cars, with the intent of selling them at inflated prices. But the surprises do not end there: the agents also found a car with Polish license plates and a counterfeit chassis, a clear indication of a stolen car recycling activity.
Irregularities all round – Not just commercial fraud. The TikToker's dealership had serious deficiencies from a construction and commercial point of view, operating without the necessary license. The Municipality of bacoli, with the assistance of its technical office, found numerous irregularities and proceeded to heavily sanction the activity.
Casandrino: large-scale waste dumping – In parallel, in Casandrino the Metropolitan Police busted an illegal dumping activity of bulky waste and used household appliances. Two men, from Sant'Arpino and Sant'Antimo, were reported for illegal waste disposal. The vehicle used to transport the waste, which was found to be uninsured and cancelled from the PRA, was seized.
The Metropolitan Police operation ended with a heavy toll: four vehicles seized, two people reported and a commercial activity closed. The Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, expressed his appreciation for the commitment of the police forces in fighting crime and illegality.
