More violence in a health facility. Yesterday evening, around 23:30 p.m., the emergency room of the Flegreo hospital was the scene of a serious episode of aggression against a triage nurse. The incident began with the arrival of a patient in a state of agitation, transported by 118 after having taken narcotics.
To make the situation even more critical, the violent reaction of the patient's family, who accused the nurse of filming them with her cell phone. The accusation, which turned out to be unfounded, triggered moments of tension that resulted in screams, death threats and damage to the emergency room furniture.
Hospital staff immediately alerted the police, who intervened to restore order and identify those responsible. The checks conducted by the agents excluded the presence of video recordings on the nurse's cell phone, thus denying the accusations made by the family members.
