Lusciano (Caserta) – A serious episode of violence took place yesterday evening outside a slot room in the municipality of Lusciano, where a 19-year-old boy was wounded in the calf by a gunshot. The victim, immediately transported to the hospital, is now out of danger, but the episode has raised alarm in the local community.
The carabinieri of the company of Aversa, who intervened on site, started the investigations under the coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Napoli North. Initial reconstructions indicate that two young people, respectively 17 and 18 years old, arrived by car in front of the arcade. After a heated argument with the 19-year-old, one of the two fired three gunshots, one of which hit the victim.
Thanks to the images from the surveillance cameras, the military were able to identify the alleged attackers, who were reported for aggravated assault. Both were questioned, but the motive for the act remains uncertain. At the moment, it seems that the argument arose for trivial reasons. Investigators are working to track down the murder weapon, a 6.35 caliber pistol, which has not yet been recovered.
