A serious accident paralyzed the A1 motorway, causing a 16-kilometer tailback on the stretch between Colleferro and Valmontone, from Naples in the direction of Rome.
The accident, which occurred at kilometer 590, involved six vehicles: three cars and three heavy vehicles. Traffic is currently blocked, causing significant inconvenience to motorists.
Medical and mechanical assistance promptly arrived on site, supported by patrols of the Highway Police and personnel from the 5th Section of Fiano Romano of Autostrade per l'Italia, working to manage the emergency and restore traffic flow.
For those heading towards Florence, it is recommended to exit at Ferentino and continue on the SS6 via Casilina, rejoining the motorway at Valmontone. The situation remains critical and motorists are advised to pay attention to traffic updates.
