La Serie A League celebrates today the birthday of Giovanni trapattoni, which he does 86 years: “Happy Birthday Giovanni Trapattoni!”, reads the message broadcast on the League's official channels, which retraces the extraordinary career of the most successful coach in Italian football.
Born on 17 March 1939, Trapattoni has left an indelible mark on football both as a player and as a coach. With the shirts of Milan and Varese, has collected 17 appearances and one goal for the national team, winning with the Rossoneri two Scudetti, one Italian Cup, two Champions Cups, one Cup Winners' Cup and one Intercontinental Cup.
Even more impressive is his list of achievements as a coach. The “Trap” has led clubs and national teams throughout Europe, including Milan, Juventus, Inter, Bayern Munich, Cagliari, Fiorentina, Benfica, Stuttgart, Salzburg, as well as Italy and the Republic of Ireland. The numbers speak for themselves: seven Scudetti (six with Juventus, one with Inter), one German championship with Bayern Munich, a Portuguese championship with Benfica and a Austrian Championship with Salzburg.
To these are added one Italian Super Cup (Inter), two Italian Cups (Juventus), one German Cup (Bayern Munich), one German League Cup (Bayern Munich), one Champions Cup (Juventus), three UEFA Cups (Juventus), one Cup Winners' Cup (Juventus), one Intercontinental Cup (Juventus) and one European Super Cup (Juventus).

It's a great achievement for Trapattoni, but I don't agree that he's the best, there are other coaches who have done very well in football. Anyway, happy birthday to him for his 86th birthday.
