Double intervention by the State Police against illegality and violations in the territories of Ottaviano and Frattamaggiore: yesterday, the police conducted two extraordinary control operations, aimed at ensuring safety and compliance with the rules in two sensitive areas of the province.
In Ottaviano, the officers of the San Giuseppe Vesuviano Police Station, supported by the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza and the Local Police, combed via Elena, via Giovanni XXIII and via Ferrovia, identifying 205 people and checking 120 vehicles. The operation led to the notification of 7 violations of the Highway Code and the monitoring of 7 commercial activities.
At the same time, in Frattamaggiore, the local police station, with the support of the Guardia di Finanza, the Local Police and the ASL/NA, combed the territory, identifying 155 people – 39 of whom had criminal records – and checking 65 vehicles, 6 of which were administratively seized, 2 were destined for confiscation and 5 were suspended from circulation.
Here, 19 fines were issued to the Highway Code, for a total of 16.577 euros, while 3 commercial activities and 11 subjects subjected to restrictive measures ended up under the investigators' lens. A joint action that demonstrates the commitment of the police forces in controlling the territory and fighting every form of illegality.

It is important that the police carry out checks in these territories, but I wonder if it is enough to stop the illegality. People need to feel safe in their streets and operations must be more frequent for better results.
